About BarCamps
- First rule of BarCamp: tell your friends about it.
- Second rule of BarCamp: tell your friends about it.
- Third rule of BarCamp: if it's your first BarCamp, you have to give a presentation!
We are not going to force you to do anything, of course, but we strongly recommend you make active preparations for the event, in the BarCamp spirit—a conference that the participants make themselves. You can put forward your presentation by clicking this link; however, if your presentation is not in the list, there is no reason why you cannot add it to the schedule on the day of the conference.
For those for whom this will be their first BarCamp, let us remind you that the final formulation of the schedule takes place at the event itself. If you want to give a talk, go up to the schedule, which will be hanging in the main hall, take a marker, find a free slot and write in the title of your presentation.
Tag
The official tag of the conference is #dckyiv10—use this if you write something on Twitter or on your blog, or if you put up photos.
Photos
If you have a camera, you must bring it with you and take photos of everything! In the info center during the day photos will be received and displayed in the entrance hall. At the end of day it will also be useful for you to bring everything you have captured to the info center to enable us to compile all the photos most efficiently.
Videos
We need your help organizing the filming of the talks and presentations! Please contact us if you can help with this difficult task.
See you there! :)
